KABUL, April 23 (Xinhua) -- Two members of a family lost their lives as the roof of their house caved in in Wardak province, east of Afghanistan, on Wednesday, reported the official Radio and Television of Afghanistan on Thursday.

The incident took place in the wake of heavy rain in Jaghatu district on Wednesday evening, killing two women, according to the media report.

The meteorological department of Afghanistan has forecasted more rain in parts of the country for Thursday.
