Iraq car bomb kills six civilians

At least six people were killed Sunday in a car bomb explosion in the northeastern part of the Iraqi capital, an official of the interior ministry said.
According to reports, six civilians were killed and 14 wounded, including six policemen in the explosion, the official said on condition of anonymity.
The explosion took place near a mosque in the Shia neighbourhood of Sha'ab in the Iraqi capital Baghdad. The blast apparently targeted a police patrol, the official said.
Two police vehicles and several cars belonging to civilians were damaged in the blast.
